When Matt and Savannah came to me with their vision of getting married at an Italian-inspired venue in California, I thought, “why not just get married in Italy itself?” After discussing it with their families, the three of us began planning their destination wedding at Villa Castelletto, a sprawling property nestled in the rolling hills of Sinalunga, Siena. Their wedding took place on a warm autumn day to the sound of strings playing Bach, Vivaldi and, of course, the Pride & Prejudice soundtrack, courtesy of The Florence String Quartet. Simona and Angelo from ZONZO STUDIO captured the essence of Matt and Savannah’s day effortlessly from early morning details with hair and makeup artist, Jessica Berullier, to the very last dance. Ilaria and everyone at Vertuani Fiori turned our vision board into a reality with a cascading orchid bouquet for Savannah and earth tone centerpieces throughout each space we occupied. Savannah wore Rita Vinieris while Matt and his groomsmen wore suits from The Black Tux. Day-of paper goods were designed by Matt himself and printed by Signature Imprints in Westwood, CA.
